BAS World has undergone a transformation in recent years, bringing together the well-known names BAS Trucks, BAS Vans, and BAS Machinery under one brand. What began as Brabantse Automobiel Service has now grown into a global digital platform, where we completely unburden both vehicle sellers and buyers. With a team of more than 80 IT specialists, we ensure that our platform is constantly evolving to meet our customers’ needs.
Our growth is primarily due to the increase in vehicles we sell on a commission basis. This means sellers can sell their vehicles through our platform, and we take care of the entire sales process. From price advice to worldwide advertising, from negotiation to the final delivery to the end customer, BAS World handles it all. Additionally, we offer sellers the option to receive up to 70% of the expected sale price in advance, allowing them to access capital immediately. The remaining amount is paid once the vehicle is sold, which typically happens within 50 days.
Our platform is designed to promote vehicles worldwide. In addition to our own website and extensive customer database, we are connected to all relevant advertising portals. This means a vehicle can always be found, regardless of location. This maximum buyer reach, combined with our efficient sales processes, makes BAS World unique in the market.
With a physical inventory of around 3,500 vehicles at our site in Veghel, we are the largest showroom in Europe. And with our international expansions, including new locations where vehicles can be viewed and collected, this number will only continue to grow. For sellers, this means significant savings in time and costs, and for buyers, it offers a broad and accessible range.
About 80% of our revenue comes from abroad. That’s why we are soon opening several locations across Europe, where customers can drop off and collect vehicles.
